I know I’m not the only one that feels this way. This past year has been the fastest and slowest all at the same time. My days, weeks and months all run together and it’s hard to keep track of everything. It was just over 1 year ago that we celebrated with Tyrel & Allison as they tied the knot! It’s already been a year, just so crazy!

To commemorate their one-year anniversary, we met up with Tyrel & Allison to capture some lifestyle photos of them as the fall colours were just beginning to wane and disappear (thank you Saskatchewan wind). As we walked around the base of Douglas Park hill (Goose Island Overlook), another one of our favourite spots, we got to laugh, joke and just catch up with this amazing couple.

Allison is a health care worker and we are so proud of her and thankful for her – especially during this crazy time. Side note – to all the health care workers, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You are all champions. This has not been an easy season of life, but we are so grateful for every last one of you!

Tyrel & Allison are some of those people whose personalities, life, and joy are just so contagious. As soon as you are around them you can’t help but feel at ease. They have that demeanour that is just so comforting. To top it off, the way they enjoy and love each other is a thing of beauty!

Engagement sessions are amazing, weddings are amazing, but more than that we believe in marriage. It is SO much more important than just the engagement season or the wedding. To see our couples not only surviving but thriving in marriage is so encouraging.

Tyrel & Allison, thank you for the joy you spread and the love you share. Thank you for building into your marriage. And thank you for allowing us to catch up with you and capture this occasion of your 1 year anniversary! We love you guys!!!
