We are always so excited when we get to see our past wedding clients, and even more excited when we get to introduce their beautiful babies! We last shared about the Weir family in January 2024, but what we couldn’t include in our last blog was that they were expecting a baby! Paul & Lubomyra welcomed their precious little Juliana last summer.

So the last time in we saw Juliana in July 2024, she was just a wee little perogy, only a couple weeks old! As kids so often do, she has grown SO MUCH and into the sweeeetest little doll, who is as busy as can be! Juliana is ray of sunshine, who doles out toothy smiles by the handful. Provided that you do NOT intend to lay a hand on her Cheerios, but let’s face it, who isn’t a little protective of their snacks?

We got to spend our session exploring the beautiful Dutch Growers greenhouse, which was recently all decked out for Christmas. Juliana was happy as could be, to walk around and explore all the gorgeous Christmas decorations. Lubomyra mentioned that Paul has yet to agree to allow glitter into their home, but I have a feeling that may change as soon as Juliana shows an interest. Which she absolutely did- being attracted to every single sparkly thing she could find. We will see how long the glitter ban lasts, once his little princess gets hooked!

We adore seeing our couples become parents and watching as their love evolves over time. Seeing your partner as a parent somehow deepens the love that you have for them in a new way. We could see that in how Paul looks at Lubomyra as she pulled Juliana in close for a hug. Or the look in Lubomyra’s eyes as Paul drew out a little giggle from their daughter, while he tickled her tummy. The love in this family has not only evolved, but deepened in such a rich, and beautiful way.

Paul & Lubomyra, it is so hard to believe that we have journeyed through so much excitement in just three years of knowing you! Your engagement, followed by your wedding, and now your growing family! You are both such kind and considerate people. We leave our sessions with you feeling that our lives have been enriched, and we are so thankful to have been able to capture this last session for you. Juliana is the most adorable little cutie, and we have no doubt that she is going grow up to also have a heart of gold with you two as her role models.
