Our year never really feels complete until we’ve done our annual Keen Family photoshoot. For 8 years we have been photographing this amazing family and it never ever gets old! If you’ve met this family, you know they are some of the most fun, most intentional and most caring people IN THE WORLD! And because of those things we considered ourselves very blessed to be able to photograph their family year after year.

This year for our session we decided to venture outdoors to the exterior of the Mackenzie Art Gallery at the T.C. Douglas Building. It was, to put it extremely gently, a rather brisk morning – but thankfully some of the architecture of the building helped block some of the gale-force Saskatchewan winds. Even with that help, by the end of the session, we were all more than a little chilled!

The Keen’s youngest, Prescott, is almost a year old which is so crazy to think about. That year went insanely fast! It has been incredible to watch Shepherd grow over the years, and now to see him as a big brother is absolutely heartwarming. He is a very proud, attentive, and caring big brother that’s for sure!

This year also marks a big change for Dionne, as she just announced that she has quit her job and is pursuing something new! If you haven’t heard about it yet, I’m sure you will soon.
