It’s always such a privilege to be invited into people’s lives to capture their most joyous moments. Whether those moments are updating your yearly family portraits or immortalizing once-in-a-lifetime milestones.

On Sunday, we got to document a special milestone in the Baseden family – Cailey graduated from Miller High School!!!

We met this family a few years ago at Zack & Kelsey’s vow renewal, but it was such a joy to “re-meet” them and to document this milestone in their baby girl’s life. Cailey admitted that she was a little nervous about the session, but we would never have known! With the way she owned that dress and the poses we gave her- it was like second nature!

Cailey has such a radiant and infectious smile, when you are around her you can’t help but smile too! In fact, the whole family is that way. Throughout the entire session, they were making each other laugh and sharing inside jokes. It makes our job so incredibly easy when families genuinely have fun together!

At our grad sessions, we often encourage the grads to have 2 outfits – one more formal and one a little more casual. Cailey opted to bring both and equally rocked them! Her intricately beaded, sleeveless trumpet gown was from NWL – and Cailey was absolutely STUNNING in it!!! Halfway through she switched to her casual white sundress, and she was absolutely adorable in that too! With a light heart and a beautiful smile, you can make anything you wear to look fabulous!

Congratulations Cailey on your high school graduation!!! It is such an important and exciting step as you venture into what the future holds. We wish you all the very best as you begin your university career at the University of Regina in the fall!!!
