We are thrilled to share the senior grad session of Zach, a talented young man who has graduated from Winston Knoll Collegiate and will attend SaskPolyTech to pursue the Automotive Service Technician program this fall. 

On a gorgeous June evening, we met outside the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan, one of our favourite places to shoot. The variety of textures and the stunning architecture provided the perfect backdrop for this memorable session. The warm light of the setting sun added a magical touch to every photograph, marking this significant milestone in Zach’s life.

We know that a grad photo session isn’t generally on the top of a senior boys’ bucket list, but Zach absolutely crushed this session! He looked so sharp and tackled everything we threw at him with a great attitude. His natural ease, goofiness and confidence shone through, making for some captivating shots. Despite any initial reluctance, Zach channelled his inner Zoolander, and rocked it!

Kevin and Karen (Zach’s parents) beamed with pride as they watched their son. It was heartwarming to see the strong bond they share as a family. As they gathered for some family photos, you could see their joy as their “not-so-little-boy” was now grown up and graduated- and ever so slightly towering over them! It is always a blessing to see families that truly love each other; who aren’t afraid of a hug, whether that be with a parent, or even an older sister!

One of our favourite moments from the session was discovering Zach’s “signature pose.” His model move oozed charm, as he gave us his smoulder, his eyebrow would seemingly raise all on its own! It showcased the goofier side of his personality and added a unique touch to the photos. 

Something we love about these senior sessions is the chance to get to know these grads a little more. It is such a joy to hear more of their story and listen to their plans and dreams for the future. To see what sparks joy and the unique passions within each of them is a gift. It is clear that Zach’s passion is for vehicles, and as he talks about where the next year will take him, his face lights up.

Every season in life is an adventure, but an adventure worth capturing and sharing. Graduating from high school is a significant milestone, and having the opportunity to document it with family makes it even more special. Zach’s journey is just beginning, and we are honoured to have been a part of celebrating his achievements and the exciting path that lies ahead.

Congratulations, Zach, on your graduation! We are so thankful that we got to be part of documenting this milestone for you! We wish you all the best as you embark on this new adventure at SaskPolyTech. 

And to Kevin, Karen, and Addison—thank you for sharing this wonderful moment with us. Your love and support for Zach are truly beautiful to witness.
