We recently had the opportunity to catch up with the Parsons family, who has grown by 2 feet since we last saw them. Those two feet belong to their beautiful younger daughter, Claire, who just turned one! The last time we were together, their oldest daughter, Emily, had just turned one. Oh my, how things can change so quickly in just a couple of years’ time!

Emily has such a fun personality. While she is a bit shy, once she warms up, Emily is full of hugs and giggles. And no one seems to pull them out like Mom and Dad! While she loves her little sister, Claire, she is quickly realizing that now that Claire is mobile, their relationship has evolved. Claire is now able to disrupt her big sister’s play time and belongings far more easily than she ever could before. Emily told us that she is in charge of teaching Claire to walk, but I’m not sure that she’ll be as excited when that time actually comes…

Our session was full of visitors, that the girls were very excited to see. From muskrats swimming in the water to ducks, geese, bunnies, and even a special visit to end our session from another family- a mama deer and her fawn! Who knew that A.E. Wilson Park boasts as much wildlife as a visit to the zoo?!

Parsons family, thank you for inviting us in to capture your memories! Dave & Sarah, we cannot believe how much the girls have grown, and it is such a delight to see you both as parents. Rolling with the punches as fistfuls of rocks are nearly eaten, singing the Peppa Pig songs as we find ourselves on another adventure between locations, or pulling goofy faces, just to make your girls laugh. You have such a beautiful family, and we cannot wait to watch the girls as they continue to grow!
