We love all family sessions of course, but on the weekend we got to photograph the Liske family – specifically my brother and his amazing family. We’ve photographed them a few times over the years and it is always fun to capture new memories to freeze these moments as their children are growing.

From the very first moment, we pulled in to the Science Centre parking lot we knew it was going to be a great session. As we were pulling up, their daughter Avonlea was frantically waving with excitement to see her Aunt & Uncle. I (Cam) stepped out of the van and their youngest, Calder (not even a year and a half old), ran up to me and gave my legs a hug – with a big smile on his face. My heart instantly melted and Courtney was tearing up as she came around too.

As we dove into the session, this fun-loving family embraced everything we threw at them. And how adorable are these kids? I of course am a little biased being their uncle, but COME ON! The kids also find me hilarious – which always pumps my tires a little bit too.

Jordan and Danica, we are so honoured to have you as our family. You are amazing parents with some incredible kids. You are all filled with so much love and joy – it’s literally contagious. Thank you for being the people you are.
