The Jaarsma family is so special to me. As you can probably tell, this is my sister’s family! I am always excited to do photos, but even more excited when it is for people I just love to bits! We had an absolutely beautiful evening for their session. The light was incredibly soft, and the sky showed off for us a bit- in true Saskatchewan fashion!
My nephew, Jonah- HOW INCREDIBLY ADORABLE IS HE?!?! Look how much he has grown since we did his newborn photos, I can hardly believe it! Jonah is ONE in just a couple of months! This pudgy little man has a smile to melt hearts everywhere. Those big brown eyes are truly going to be a secret weapon for him when he gets a bit older! He has the softest and squishiest cheeks ever, which is definitely this auntie’s favourite feature! I never understood that stereotypical aunt ‘pinching the cheek’ thing, until I experienced Jonah cheeks!
Justin & Charissa, over the past year we have watched you become parents. This sweet boy has so much love in his life from the both of you. Charissa, you will teach him tenacity and that he can accomplish anything he works hard for. Justin, you have such a free and adventurous spirit that will show him that this world is for adventure! Jonah has yet to learn just how blessed he is to be a Jaarsma. You have blossomed into ‘mom’ and ‘dad’, navigating the challenges of parenthood with such grace and patience. We love you, Jaarsma family!
