There are people who come into your life at just the right time. The Illingworth family is this for us. Their family is so special to us. Cory has worked with Cam at Celebration Church for the last five years. He has been a mentor, cheerleader, and amazing friend to Cam. Rachel and I have bonded closely as well, and I know that I have a truly loyal, genuinely caring, and honest friend in her. Our family is so blessed by our friendships with this family, and our kids adore and look up to their kids!

 

We had the opportunity to take out these dear friends to capture some memories for their family. They have five kids, ranging in age from 7 to 16. There is an element of beautiful chaos that occurs during sessions with large families. This session was no exception- including falling signs, a consequent bump on the head, but as always a lot of laughs!

 

I love how children are so unique! They each bring their own personality to the session, and we love being able to draw out those sometimes coy smiles! I need a moment to pay tribute to their middle daughter’s fiery red hair- I have some serious hair envy with that girl! She has my DREAM hair! Maybe that stems from my generation’s obsession with Ariel from The Little Mermaid, but I have loved and longed for red hair allllll my life! I have the curls, but that brilliant red colour is just ah-ma-zing!!!

 

Illingworth family, you hold a special place in the Liske family’s hearts. We are so thankful for each one of you, and the role you have played and will continue to play in our lives. How you have welcomed us in as friends, and embraced us family has been such a blessing. You have seen us through ups and downs in our journey, and we are honoured to have been able to be there for you in the same. God truly has a plan for your family, and we cannot wait to see where He leads! We love you all, and are excited to continue walking with you wherever you may go!
