I can’t believe that it was a week ago already that we left Regina for an amazing conference… Time definitely does fly when you’re having fun!

I had mentioned that we went to St. Louis last week, but what I failed to mention, was how big of a dork I actually am… Anyone who knows me, knows this to be true, but attending this conference only brought that out more. When we walked up to registration to get our badges and everything, the person helping us was none other than Taylor Cincotta (wife of Sal Cincotta, a photography couple whom we have followed for a number of years). So that was my first “fan girl” moment, I literally had to talk myself into ‘remaining cool’ until we walked away when I could allow myself to have a sufficient little freak out. Sadly, it did not end there. Walking past other major names in the photography world for the first day or so around the conference left me star struck. I finally understand what “normal” people must feel like when they have a celebrity encounter!

One of the amazing celebrities (well, definitely a celebrity in my mind) that I had the honour of speaking with and learning from at the conference was Vanessa Joy. I had the opportunity to attend her natural light class, and man, let me tell you, I just stood amazed as she worked her magic. This could have possibly also been due to a bit of star struck-ness, but she was just so great. Here are a couple of shots that I captured of our fantastic couple that so graciously worked with us! While it was snowing (yet again) in Regina, I was enjoying the promise of spring and the start of wedding season!
