For any not yet lovers of The Office (because I don’t believe there can be any NON-lovers of The Office), let me tell you a tale. A tale of Jim Halpert, a mild-mannered paper salesman from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Jim falls in love with his friend and co-worker, Pam Beasley. Over the course of the show, Jim falls increasingly in love with Pam, and a beautiful love story unfolds. *Spoiler alert*- eventually they both admit this love for one another, and then things get even more amazing. Fellow lovers of The Office, Cole & Alisha, have a similar story- right down to her red hair and his endearing side smile.

Cole & Alisha have been friends since they were in high school. As many of their friends can attest, Cole fell head over heels for Alisha very early on in their friendship. Alisha, from what we were told, firmly kept Cole in the ‘friend zone’ until they were nearing the end of their high school years. They began dating and have been inseparable since! Last year, Cole proposed to Alisha, and she accepted- much to everyone’s delight!

Their September wedding was perfect. Cole & Alisha stood at the altar, hand-in-hand. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, they made vows to always love and cherish one another. To support the other in all of their greatest life ambitions. These two lovers of The Office even managed to work in some wisdom from one very wise man- Dwight K. Schrute. In her vows, Alisha included the phrase “Perfectenschlag,” which means when everything in one’s life comes together perfectly. This real-life Pam & Jim got their happily ever after.

I have four words that I’m beyond ecstatic to say- Harry Potter wedding cake. Oh. My. Gosh. Cole mentioned to me they would have a Harry Potter wedding cake, but “like classy Harry Potter”. I was on board at the mention of ANYTHING Harry Potter, so when I saw it, I almost cried big, geek tears! Sinfully Sweet Cathedral Bakery NAILED this cake! It was elegant, but so incredibly Harry Potter that my geek heart soared as high as the golden snitches adorned on the cake! Perfectenschlag.

Cole & Alisha, thank you so much for allowing Cam & I to capture the beautiful moments of your wedding day. I hope you had time to take those mental pictures of the day, but we are so honoured that we could take the others for you! It was a day full of laughter and joy, surrounded by the best of the best friends anyone could ask for. Alisha, may you always be the PB (Pam Beasley) to his J (Jim). Cole, may you never stop taking mental pictures of her- even if she blinks. I pray that through the journey ahead- the best times and the worst, you will remain as you did your vows, hand-in-hand, forever. Always.
