This year hasn’t turned out as expected, but it will be one that we will not soon forget either. For so many, like Georgia, this was a milestone year. Georgia is a senior at Campbell Collegiate, and this June, she graduated high school! Like so many other graduates, she didn’t quite get the celebration that she had hoped for. But Georgia remained positive about the experience of learning from home these last months, and about the next chapter of her life. Cam & I had the opportunity to spend some time with her and her family, marking this momentous occasion!
Everyone arrived dressed to the nines. Even the family dog, Joey, was a vision in his vibrant pink bowtie. Clearly, he got the memo and did everything he could to ensure his outfit was a nod to Georgia’s beautiful dress. Joey was also sure to bring his best smiles to the shoot, giving us all a good laugh!
Georgia brought along her violin and indulged us as we asked her to play for us. Having learned to play at a very young age, she mesmerized us with the arrangement she played. I asked her to humour me in following me around and play the theme music to my life- she thought I was joking… Georgia, trust me, that offer will always stand!
Congratulations again, Georgia! Cam & I loved the time that we were able to spend with you and your family. It is always an honour to be invited to freeze special moments in people’s lives, and this was no exception! Georgia, you are an intelligent and beautiful girl, with a bright future ahead of you! We wish you all the very best as you transition to your studies at the University of Saskatchewan this fall.
xoxo
Cam & Courtney
