I have had the pleasure of photographing the Favel family each year since Ty and Jace were born. Over the last seven years, I watched these boys grow from wee babes, to busy toddlers, to little men! We have gotten to know them and their unique personalities as they’ve grown up. One of my most favourite things is seeing how their interests change year after year. But it is so much fun when we can recreate photos we have done in the past to see how much they’ve changed! Kyle even got to replicate a photo that he had done when Ty was two years old! Though Ty’s legs are much longer now than they were when we first tried it!
Cam & I ventured out to Moose Jaw to photograph the Favel family in Wakamow Valley Park. The boys were so excited to share with us all of their knowledge about their two latest and greatest favourite things: geocaching and Hatchimals. Ty even led us into some bushes to show us one of the geocaches they’d already worked hard to find. I heard all about Hatchimals- the rare ones, the common ones, which are their favourites… Honestly, I learned more about those little creatures in an hour and a half than I thought possible! I heard bits and pieces of a Hatchimal theme song, though neither Ty or Jace seemed too confident in all the lyrics as they sang… which gave me a good giggle every time!
Kyle & Richelle, thank you so much for asking Cam & I to take photos of you and your handsome boys. I love that each session we have together is filled with so much laughter. Your boys are so full of life, and I know that there is likely never a dull around your house. Keep laughing together, and thanks so much for allowing us to adventure with you!
xoxo
