We are Cam & Courtney Liske, a husband & wife wedding photography team based in Regina, Saskatchewan. It’s been said, “Value your life enough to document it.” Somewhere along the way into adulthood, we forget that. We can get caught up in the busyness of life, or the highlight reels of other’s social media feeds. It is easy to believe that maybe your own photos aren’t worthy, because they aren’t a beautifully curated portrait of perfection.

It is our desire to breathe this truth over you: “You are living a life that is worthy of being captured.”

In our years of marriage, we have learned that the in-between moments in life far outweigh the picture-perfect. We learn the most through our less than perfect experiences. Those in-between moments are raw and genuine. They grow and shape your relationship. Those quiet moments are the ones that have you falling deeper in love with each other every single day. There is an incredible beauty in the imperfection of the in-between.

Our photography business exists to document each valuable life. It is our prayer that after working with us, or even after just meeting with us, you will leave more in love with your spouse, your family, and yourself.

Cam and I love getting to know more about the couples and families we work with, and realize that you want to get to know who we are as well! Here is a little bit more about who we are, and our story behind the cameras.

Cam and I have known each other since we were kids. I don’t mean in a “we’ve known each other so long I can’t remember” sort of way. We have known each other since I was five and Cam was seven. My family moved to Regina, and we started attending the same church as Cam’s family. In every Christmas pageant our parents ever filmed, he and I can be seen singing in whatever strange outfit there was that particular year!

Cam was quiet growing up- like soooooo quiet. I was not so quiet, and at some point decided that I was going to force him to start talking to me… Once he started, it was hard to get him to stop! We were best friends by the time I was in sixth grade. I can honestly say that we don’t know what life is like without the other!

Cam often teases me that he pursued me for six years, with me consistently turning him down. Thankfully, he was persistent! We started dating when I was in grade twelve, after many years of him asking. But I always tell him that I said yes when it really mattered! We got engaged watching the sunrise, on a chilly October morning in fall 2013.

And this, friends, is the EXACT reason why you hire a photographer to do your engagement photos! Ohhhh boy… This photo hurts me…

On July 10, 2004, we were married in our hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan. Our wedding photos were done on film- yes, you read that right! Our wedding happened at the tail end of film- just as the digital cameras were starting to take over the photography industry. Oh goodness, look at us! We were just babies!

Cam and I have now been married for 16 years, and have been blessed with three beautiful children- Ashton, Hayden, and Judah. Life as a family of five is such a huge blessing. I know there were a number of years when it was just Cam and I, but those seem so long ago!

Our kids have walked with us through times of joy and laughter, tears and pain, and everything in between. I absolutely cherish them and the input they bring to any issue we bring forward to discuss and pray through as a family. Plus, they’re pretty darn cute!
