This is the kind of post that’s both incredibly difficult and deeply meaningful to write.
After more than 15 years of photographing love, family, and the everyday beauty of life—we’re announcing that 2025 will be our final year as Cam and Courtney Photography.
We’ve been sitting with this decision for a while, letting it settle in our hearts. We have prayed, reflected, and listened, and we feel the gentle nudge confirming that it is time to step into a new season. It’s a bittersweet shift, but it feels right. Over the years, we’ve poured our hearts into this work—into every wedding we’ve celebrated, every session we’ve shared, and every story we’ve told through our lens. And not just in taking photos, but doing our best to love people well, to serve with intentionality, and the show glimpses of Jesus in how we care, create and connect.
For us, photography has always been about more than the images. It’s been our way of living out a calling- to make people feel seen, valued, and loved. To enter into your stories with reverence and share in your joy. To reflect the heart of God, who dwells in the details and who walks with us in every season of life, as we have gone about our time in this work, and what we have viewed as our ministry.
But now, we feel it’s time to close this chapter.
To every couple who invited us to witness their vows…
To every family who let us freeze-frame your joy, chaos and growth…
To every client who trusted us to hold your moments with care—
Thank you.
Your stories have shaped us. We’ve grown up as photographers alongside many of you. We met some of you when you were a newly engaged couple, gushing over your dreams for your wedding, and have since photographed your little ones playing in the tall summer grass. Some of you we only met once, but our time together left a lasting impression on us. Some of you have returned year after year and feel more like friends to us than clients.
This business has never just been about the photos. It’s been about connection, about honouring your precious memories, and about creating space for real, meaningful moments to unfold. We hope that in our time together you have felt cared for, known, and cherished, because that has been the driving heartbeat behind it all.
So, why now?
We’ve always said that if we were to step away from photography that we would want to leave this business with joy and purpose, while we still love it deeply. And that’s exactly where we find ourselves. We’re stepping into a new season of life with open hands and full hearts. With a desire to slow down, refocus, and listen to what God might be inviting us to put our time and talents into next. For our family, our marriage, and our calling.
But we want to go well.
We want to close this chapter with gratitude, honour, and intention. So we want to extend an open invitation to create and capture moments together one last time.
Legacy Sessions
Legacy Sessions are full-length portrait sessions designed for those who’ve shared a piece of this journey with us and who want to create one last story together.
Whether we photographed your wedding, your newborn’s first weeks, or yearly family sessions as your little ones grew, this is your moment to celebrate the story we’ve shared.
These sessions are relaxed, meaningful, and full of space to be present with the people you love most. We’ll laugh, we’ll reminisce, and we’ll document the beautiful season of life you’re in, one last time. And there is a good chance that we may share a few tears.
If you’ve been thinking, “You know, we should really book again.” Well, this is your sign.
Mini Sessions
On May 24th, we will be offering a very limited number of mini session spots. Short, sweet sessions for families, couples, or individuals who want a final few images before we hang up our cameras.
We will be releasing mini session details soon, and we expect these spots to go quickly. These sessions are perfect for holiday cards, yearly family updates, or just a little time to say goodbye.
Final Weddings & Elopements
Yes, we do still have some availability for a few final weddings and elopements for 2025! If you’re planning your day and have been dreaming of working with us, now is your chance. We’ll be closing our wedding calendar once those final 2025 dates have been filled.
We’d Love to Photograph You—One Last Time
Whether we’ve worked together before, or we’ve been on your “someday” list, we’d be honoured to document one more story with you in 2025.
The final day for all sessions will be November 16, 2025. This will allow us time to complete any editing and bookkeeping before the end of the year.
So if you’ve been meaning to reach out, now is the time!
Book Your Session Here
This isn’t goodbye just yet. We’ve got a full and joy-filled season ahead, and we’re looking forward to every minute. But we want to walk through this final year of our business with open eyes and grateful hearts. We want to make space to capture your stories before we turn the page. We want to serve, create, and love well, until the very last frame.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
Thank you for inviting us tell your stories.
Thank you for allowing us to live out this calling.
Thank you for helping us reflect the love of Jesus, one photo at a time.
We truly couldn’t have done it without you.
With all our love and gratitude,
Cam & Courtney

Wishing you the most amazing final year, and all the best of what God has in store for you as you journey into what’s next. Praying this next chapter brings much fulfillment and joy!
Cam & Courtney so excited for your new chapter and we hope to get in on one last photo. We literally just want the same photo you did last time. Just love it. We are interested in a mini session but not sure what the requirement is. Looking forward to hearing from you.
