Finding a location for each session is a collaboration. When we can, we like to use spots that are meaningful to our couples. Or if they prefer, we can suggest locations that will photograph well. When left to us it can sometimes be in a most unexpected place- such as the back of my doctor’s office! Or showing up at a local community garden. But thankfully, Andrew & Lacey trusted that we weren’t crazy, embraced the surroundings we brought them into and we got some amazing results!

As we have said before, we love to shoot in the evening. To which some may wonder, why? Because the light is so gentle and warm, and envelops our subjects in what we will often refer to as ‘God’s Light’. Thankfully, after a few days of crazy heat and some rain, the clouds cleared and light on this evening was no different. The colours of the sunset painted across the sky, like a masterpiece taking shape before our very eyes.

Andrew & Lacey, thank you so much for choosing Courtney Liske Photography to be part of your Regina wedding! I love how much you laugh together! Cam & I could see the joy radiating between you as you look at one another. Thank you for not only appeasing our request for a lift but actually attempting THE LIFT– a la ‘Dirty Dancing‘ (not pictured)! We loved the time we were able to spend with the two of you (and your precious pups!) for your engagement session and cannot wait for your upcoming 2020 wedding!
