This school year was challenging, to say the very least. Since our kids were just babies, we’ve heard that “children are resilient”, which has proven to be true. But in the happenings over the course of this last year, we have resoundingly found out just how strong they are. Rachel has come out of one of the toughest years of her high school career and did not merely survive, but this girl thrived!
Rachel graduated, with honours and was also the recipient of the top athlete scholarship award from Luther College High School. Not only is she gifted academically, but she is also a tremendous athlete. Rachel is going to be suiting up as part of the University of Regina Cougars basketball team beginning in the 2021-2022 season!
We got to spend time with Rachel and her family, but also with a couple of her best friends. Girls, I hope you know how special it is to have the kind of bond that you do. While having a large group of friends is wonderful, having a close couple of friends whom you know will walk through anything in life with you is such a blessing. We had so much fun getting to see you laugh together, and absolutely ROCK each unique style of grad dresses that showed off a glimpse into each personality!
Rachel, congratulations on all of your accomplishments! It is so evident in the proud smiles that we witnessed from your family that you have a cheering squad that is going to stand behind you in whatever direction you go. We wish you all of the success and richest blessings as you step out into the next challenge ahead of you. Go Cougars!
xoxo
